It's fine for what it does. A few things to be aware of:1. There is no master on/off switch. You have to find the small button to select Bluetooth, Radio or Aux In each time you want to turn it on or off.2. No radio presets. If you want to change radio stations, you have to manually tune to the next radio station. Since I only listen to one NPR station, this is not a problem for me.3. The USB ports are only for charging devices. No data or audio goes through them. But the Bluetooth works fine for listening to audio from your smartphone.I don't use the alarm, so I won't comment on that.The only reason I dropped a star is because it drops the bluetooth connection for no reason I can find. The Bluetooth indicator is still on most times, but the streaming music stops. Other times it just turns the Bluetooth off entirely, even when the phone is docked on it.When it's actually playing, the sound quality is great and the clock works well. Woulddef recommend, but it would be better if it didn't keep dropping the Bluetooth connection. ?I bought this with the idea of plugging in a pillow speaker from the aux port. It actually doesn't work that way, so I can't use the pillow speaker at all but my son was so happy with it otherwise we kept it. the dimmable display is amazing. and clock re-setting is easy for me each power cut.This alarm clock is a great buy! It's easy to set up, gets all the popular FM channels, and the sound is incredible. You can wake to the radio or the buzzer. The only drawback is that you can only set one alarm time for the entire week (instead of separate times for weekdays and weekends). But the quality, sound, and easy use make up the difference. For example setting week days, weekends or all days of the week.This is a cute, compact little night table clock radio. Unfortunately, it is not user-friendly, and the design needs a few tweaks. With all of the little tiny buttons on top, it is very difficult to discern which one to use to turn the alarm off and on, especially if you are just waking in the morning. In addition, unless your bedside table is taller than your bed, it's almost impossible to read the time. I have a folded piece of cardboard under the front edge to tip it up, so I can see the face of the clock.The addition of the phone holder is a great idea, but the execution is lacking. The lip in the front is way too small to hold my phone in place (Samsung Galaxy series). It's maybe a quarter inch tall, whereas a half inch would be more practical.What I DO like is that the digital numbers have a dimmer, so that the bright LED light we all hate can be dimmed down to a decent sleeping light. There is also a USB hub in the front, so I can conveniently charge my phone without freeing up a wall plug. At some point, I am sure I will have another go-around with the radio alarm to see if I can modify the buttons to make them easier to use; maybe add a touch of glue to the correct buttons. I haven't figured out a solution to the phone holder yet; maybe a clip or something to extend the height. So, I don't hate it, don't love it.I have been searching for a digital alarm clock with a radio, USB, phone holder, non obnoxious alarm, large easy to reach snooze button, not to mention a display that doesn't light up the whole room. I had already struck out three times when I bought this. It covers all my wants! The display is a white light and can be dimmed. It does not light up the room at all! I use the radio as my alarm and the snooze button is up front, long and easy to reach. I am able to use the USB (there are two) to charge my phone as well as my Fitbit, etc.It does beep loudly when you set the alarm, but that didn't bother me at all as I get up at the same time five days a week. When the alarm (or radio) goes off, if you don't hit snooze or turn it off, it will gradually get louder and louder. Some may think this is a con, but it is a pro for me.I wish I had found this one sooner!I bought this alarm clock because I needed something for our nursery that I could control the brightness of the time (checks that box) and that is small enough it doesn't take up much needed space (checks that box) - as well as something that I could mount my cell phone to, or at least set on it, so I can watch movies during late night feedings but also charge it at the same time (check and check).Once I read the little instruction manual, it was pretty easy to set up. We haven't used it for any features other than the clock yet, and it seems to be working so far. I doubt we'll use the alarm as to not wake the baby but for the basic needs - it works.
